Beth Critton, of West Hartford, Connecticut, a land-use attorney and avid hiker, serving a third term on the Board. She was appointed to the ATC Stewardship Council, a Board committee, in 2011 and became Council Chair in 2013. A Penn State and University of Connecticut law-school graduate and an ATC life member, she is a past chair of the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club. The mother of a thru-hiker, she has hiked over 2000 miles of the A.T. and hopes to complete the Trail in 2019.
